Dapol have announced they are to reissue their N Gauge Class 58 diesel locomotive in four livery variations.
In line with other recently announced reissues, the Class 58 will feature a NEXT18 DCC decoder socket.
The full list of features is as follows:
Smooth running 5 pole 'super creep' motor
All wheel pickup
All wheel drive via low friction mechanism
NEXT18 decoder socket (recommended 6 function decoder)
NEM pockets
Standard NEM fitting N Gauge couplings
Detailed body and fittings
Accessory bag with optional detail parts
Planned liveries are:
2D-058-001 58003 Railfreight Original Red Stripe
2D-058-002 58020 Railfreight Revised (front logo) Red Stripe
2D-058-003 58002 'Daw Mill Colliery' Triple Grey Coal Sector
2D-058-004 58047 EWS
The RRP is £137.00 for DCC ready versions, and £167.00 for DCC fitted
The expected delivery period is Q3 2022
