IIA Bogie Hopper Wagons
The IIA Bogie Hopper Wagons started life as HYA Coal Hoppers, introduced from 2007 to deliver the fuel needed to run coal-fired power stations. However, as the UK transitioned away from using coal as the fuel for its power stations, the wagons became redundant and were re-employed on biomass trains, being recoded as IIAs in the process.
