Dapol N Gauge LMS non-corridor stock 1st EP samples revealed at TINGS 2026
Dapol have shown the very first EP samples for their forthcoming LMS non-lavatory, non-corridor suburban coaches at the 2026 International N Gauge Show.
First announced in December 2025 and now progressing to production following expressions of interest reaching the required level, the models on display are some of the very first test shots from the tooling. Dapol have already identified several areas for refinement, including the fit of the chassis to the body, adjustments to the coupling design and refinements to the size of the door outlines. These amendments are now being implemented before the next samples are received and release is now expected during Q3 2027.
Despite these being the initial samples with the above adjustments to be implemented, the models already exhibited a very high level of detail, with the bogies and under frame being particularly noteworthy.
Engineering prototypes for the four planned versions of the coaches were on display.
