Revolution Trains have received the first EP samples for their recently announced N Gauge Alcan PCA alumina tank wagons.
Built in 1988, the Alcan PCA tanks have been in frontline service for more than three decades and despite their relatively limited route they pass through some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK. 43 wagons numbered BAHS55531-55573 were built in 1988 by Powell Duffryn to design code PC020A for British Alcan Aluminium. Unusually the wagons have twin-link suspension with parabolic leaf springs, due to restrictions on the West Highland line.
The models will feature:
NEM coupling pockets
RP25 wheel sets
optional ladders (fitted for appropriate versions – Alcan and debranded Alcan liveries have ladders fitted)
optional discharge chute plate
high levels of detailing with numerous separately fitted plastic and photo-etched parts
All the models will be supplied in packs of 4 wagons to enable modellers to recreate prototypical rakes of 12 – 20+ wagons. Each wagon in each pack will be individually numbered.
You can pre-order wagons direct from Revolution Trains now for the early bird price of £149.95 per pack of four.
