Revolution Trains N Gauge Electrostar Class 375 Class 377 Class 387

Revolution Trains have opened the orderbook for their N Gauge Class 375/377/387 'Electrostar' EMU and released CAD images showing the variations expected to be available.

Revolution have strived to capture the nuances of these units and have tooled both early lighting arrangements as fitted to the 377/1 and the later light clusters which were fitted to the second batch of Class 377s and of course the 387s and 375/9s.

The Class 387s feature their traditional rubber gasket glazing as opposed to the ribbon 'bonded' style large side windows found on a majority of Class 377 and Class 375 variants.

All dual voltage units will come with a fully detailed and poseable pantograph featuring a finely etched pantograph head along with bogie mounted shoe gear as fitted to the third rail only units. Etched brake discs are also fitted. DCC users will also be able to realistically operate the central door lock lights with a single function button on their command station.

A switch, accessed via a removable air con panel on every car allows the interior lights to be permanently switched on or off, and each DMOS car will have a secondary switch to turn off the head and tail lights at each respective end for multiple working regardless of whether you are a DC or DCC user. The illuminated destination displays will remain lit just like the prototype.

Depending on which model is ordered, lower valance mounted, forward facing camera lights will come fitted as per the prototype. All Class 387 models will have this feature, along with an illuminated pantograph camera light.
