As part of their Spring 2022 product line up for the Graham Farish N Gauge range, Bachmann Europe have announced a new model of the Class 769 Flex bi-mode BMU units now entering service with Transport for Wales, and a DCC sound fitted class 08 shunter.
The Class 769 takes advantage of the Class 319 tooling, with suitable alterations to represent the bi-mode equipment.
The model features a coreless motor with flywheel, electrical pickup from all axles, an unobstructed interior including seat and table detail, conductive couplings between vehicles and functional multiple unit couplings at the outer ends. Directional and internal lighting is fitted along with an easy access Next18 DCC decoder socket with pre-fitted speaker.

Also announced as part of their spring release program is an upgraded Class 08 shunter with a new chassis design which now features DCC socket and DCC sound thanks to a pre-installed speaker.

Bachmann Collectors Club members are now able to order the next exclusive N Gauge model, BR Mk1 BG ‘Laboratory 23’ in the Railway Technical Centre’s revised colour scheme.
Just five hundred and four models have been made and each is supplied with a numbered certificate of authenticity – priced at £45.95.
