Dapol N Gauge Class 59 production samples arrive

Dapol have released images of production samples for their forthcoming N Gauge Class 59 diesel locomotive.

The Class 59 is Dapol's latest Next Generation Diesel model, incorporating Dapol’s re-designed chassis and electronics. The model will also incorporate the same iron cored 5 pole motor used in the N Gauge Class 50 and Class 68 which offers excellent slow running and exceptional pulling power with reliability and robustness.

The recommended retail prices are as follows:

DCC ready: £172.80

DCC fitted: £205.20

DCC sound: £291.60

Dapol state models are now in transit to the UK and are expected in shops around the beginning of March. This may be slightly delayed due to the current complications relating to international shipping.
