Revolution Trains Class 59 - Close-up look

During the 2022 International N Gauge Show, we took a close-up look at the Revolution Trains Class 59 samples that have been recently received.

These are early samples with some changes and adjustments to be made before they enter production. The order book is expected to close shortly, so if you want to take advantage of the early bird pricing available direct with Revolution Trains don't delay!

Even at sample stage, the models exhibit exceptional levels of detail, and in particular the underframe is awash with separately fitted parts, including for the first time on an N Gauge EMD a representation of the body stanchions with the correct gap behind them.

Revolution Trains are going to great lengths to ensure the correct details are included for the different variations of Class 59, including light clusters and underframe details appropriate to the different sub classes.

Work is now being carried out to finesse the tooling, improving the fit of parts and adjusting some of the paint colours where necessary, notably the grey on the National Power 59/2 and orange of both the Freightliner G&W livery (not shown here) and GBRF scheme.
