Following the sneak peak in their 2021 roundup, Revolution Trains have now released images of the full EP samples for their N Gauge Class 313/314.
Announced in 2019, Revolution are proposing both Classes 313 and 314. The models will feature the usual Revolution Trains refinements including directional lighting, power transfer couplers and a low profile drive so the motor is not visible. DC and DCC sound versions will be offered.
The photos provided of the EP samples show the power couplings, which will provide electrical pickup from all wheels, and allow the use of only one DCC chip for DCC users.
The low profile mechanism gives a clear view of the interior through all windows in the unit.
Revolution are proposing Network Southeast, Silverlink, London Overground (ex Silverlink), First Capital Connect, Great Northern (ex FCC) and Southern 'Coastway' liveries at launch for the Class 313, and Strathclyde PTE and Scotrail Saltaire liveries for the Class 314.
